My name is John Alls and this is my family.  Wheat Field Baptist started as a mission work out of Independence Baptist Church when the LORD called us to spread the gospel message and see new Baptist churches started in the St. Louis area.  Both my wife and I were born and raised in church but did not accept the LORD as our personal saviour until we were adults.  My wife, Tanya, was saved first and started witnessing to me and then one night the LORD got my attention, showed me that I was lost and bound for Hell and that He had already died for my sins.  It was that night when I truly believed on the LORD Jesus Christ as my Savior.  Now I know that I will one day spend eternity with Him.  It is not because of anything good that I have done but it is because the LORD showed mercy and forgave a wicked sinner who didnt deserve Him.  He has changed our lives and we want Him to receive all glory and honor for that.  We are blessed to have 4 wonderful daughters (and 2 awesome Son-In Laws).  Our prayer and desire is to let others know what He has done and what He can do for them.  So, whether you were born and raised in church or never stepped foot in a church service,  each and every one stands condemned before a Holy and Just God.  But He sent His Son Jesus to live a perfect life, die on a cross and raise again the 3rd day.  Each one needs to see their guilty condition, ask God for forgiveness and trust in the work of Jesus Christ.  He died that you might have eternal life.
